The website of basis wien - Archive and Documentation Centre for Contemporary Art is currently being modernised as part of the project “Transformation of the basis wien Digital Repository 2026”.
At present, the online database is available in a limited form and can only be used to search for objects. These include publications (such as catalogues, magazines, and texts) as well as ephemera (e.g. invitations and exhibition materials). The website will be gradually rebuilt by summer 2026.
For full access to the documentation, as well as for viewing and retrieving materials, users are welcome to visit the Archive and Documentation Centre basis wien in person and conduct research on site.
